Here are the essential basics every aspiring artist will learn in this 3 hour, in - person class, taught by Pat Bon Barro, our seasoned artist of 47 years: 1. What to paint first 2. How to mix colors 3. Style technique for landscape elements 4. Atmospheric perspective 5. Proper brush selection and technique 6. Shadows 7. Highlights 8. Midtones Introductory Price $55 plus supplies There is a 6 person max per class. We offer a package that includes: 8 acrylic paint brushes, 8 tubes of acrylic paint, an 11x14 canvas and 1 - three hour art class for $150 For your convenience, all the supplies needed for the class can be purchased at our studio on the day of the event or during normal business hours. You can also bring your own paint and brushes from the list below. Supplies List: Any pencil with eraser White plastic eraser such as a Staedler 18" or 24" ruler (yardstick is ok too if you already have that) 11x14 canvas Acrylic Paint Set: Set of acrylic paint 12, 18 or 24 colors Acrylic Brushes: Please call Rachel @ 619-742-9938 for brush sizes. Flat, Filbert, Fan, Liner, Round Sable Mop Brush in a medium size is helpful but not required.
